This is tattooing to add pigment (color) to the nipple area and the area around the nipple.  This can be done for ladies who have lost color in this area for various reasons, but is usually done after having a mastectomy due to breast cancer.  I also work on any scar tissue in the area to help soften or cover the scarring.  This picture is immediately after the tattoo procedure, so the scar tissue appears "softer" but is still red.  The redness subsides as the healing begins.  If you are a cancer survivor, this procedure is always free of charge.  I love it when someone kicks cancer's butt!
